Yesterday was my Woodland Oaks Church shower. It was very fun! Jake got so much stuff that it took two SUVs to get the gifts home, and once they were in his room you couldn't move! The generosity and thoughtfulness of everyone was amazing and overwhelming!

My #1 Girl Turns 1!

I can't believe it. I remember this special day one year ago and it's been a whole year full of wonderful memories of all of Kinley's firsts. I love her so much and don't remember what we all ever did without her!

Pumpkin Patch!
Which is bigger? My belly or the pumpkin?
Kinley wondering why I'm taking so many pics of her
On Sunday afternoon Jessica, Kinley, Rachel, Taylor and I went to the Pumpkin patch right by my house. The girls were so cute and it was such a fun place to take pictures. I can't wait to take our little guy next year...he'll be about 10 months old by then. Crazy!

Some of the guests
Well, I had my first of two showers today and it was an absolute blast. I had friends come from Austin, College Station, San Marcos, Downtown and from just down the street! Jake got so many adorable things and everything was perfect. After Jeremy saw everything he got he said, "We've got some wonderful friends!" I couldn't have said it better myself...except for maybe adding family in there, too. We got our diaper genie, pack n play, toys, books, clothes, diapers, wipes, blankets, burp rags, pacifiers, changing pad and tons of other fun stuff. I had so much fun putting everything away.
Thanks to Jess, Rachel, Leah, and Jenn (hostesses) and also all of my guests for such a magnificent day! :)

Big Changes!
Well, there have been big changes around the Worley house lately. I am happy to say that my last day of work was on Friday. I never really questioned the fact that I would stay home and raise our children, and once I got to see and feel our little guy moving around my choice was just confirmed. I want to be the one to see all of his 'firsts' and I am so thankful that our situation has worked out so well for me to stay home with him.
It was very hard to resign from work, as that has been the only job that I have had since college and this year would've made 4 years! I was treated so well there and made so many good friends. I never expected the amount of encouragement and support for my decision and was treated to a wonderful lunch and several baby gifts- including our high chair! I will miss them but know that this job is much more important to me. And they have promised if I ever need anything that I always have a job there.
I am so looking forward to the next few weeks. I have time to rest, don't have to worry about taking off for my frequent Dr visits, get to work on several projects around the house, spend time with friends and family, and did I mention sleep in? ;-)
Also coming up we have two showers and our childbirth class! I am also hoping to get Christmas shopping done before December-just in case Jake arrives early. I know that I will feel better if my house is organized and clean, his room is complete, his clothes are washed, and my Christmas shopping is done by December so that I can have those last couple of weeks to completely rest and not stress-that is if he's not here by then.
I hope everyone has a great week! (I know I will ;-) )

The cutest baby boy ever!
This afternoon we had our 3D ultrasound, one day shy of 28wks. The tech kept saying how he was so cute and had such adorable and well developed features for his 'age'. She said he is so cute and he's just now beginning the filling out stage, so he'll just keep getting cuter. She was supposed to take 2 color and 6 black and white pictures and ended up taking 13 color and 17 black and white- she claimed that he was too cute not to and in the perfect position and that we should hide our films so she wouldn't get in trouble for taking so many! :)
