Memorable Moments - 2008 in Pictures

2008 will always stand out as one of the most memorable years of my life for the amazing blessings and devastating trials that it brought. But i know that all things work for good for those that love the Lord. He has continued to bless us thru this year and we are praying for happy and special 2009 with our baby boy!

me and my mom went to visit Daddy Joe a couple days after I got back from Hawaii after his first brain surgery. This was before his fall and these were some of the most precious moments of all... it was a great trip. he was doing so well and cracking us up!

This Friday Jeremy and his friends went to play miniature golf (The green jacket championship-as they like to call it...nerds) and then go watch the basketball games at a sports bar...so I got to have a girls night. Jess, Kinley and I met my mom, dad, Lissa, and Courtney at Haley's playoff game against Tomball. After her game Lissa, Courtney, mom, Jess, Kinley and I headed to our house to order pizza and play rock band. We had so much fun! My mom had always thought it sounded like such a stupid game, but we played for hours and she claims she'll be using the house key we gave her to come play on her lunch breaks!!! ;-)

We had a great Friday yesterday.

Right after I got home from work Jeremy's sister Starr stopped by. She has recently adopted a dog that had been run over near her school. She brought me my adorable b-day present, and brought Wilbur for us to meet. He's so so sweet!

We were also paid a visit from Weilun (one of Jeremy and my friends from A&M). He stayed the night with us and hung out with us and my family. It was so good to see him, he recently got back from 1 year in Afghanistan.

My grandparents and aunt also came in town because Haley had a softball game against Lufkin. Her team beat them, guaranteeing them first in district even if they lose their next and last game on Tuesday. Since it was the final home game of the season, and therefore the high school careers of the seniors on the team, they had a presentation for them after the game.

Afterwards, we all headed out to my parents for some pool, burgers and hot dogs, 42, etc.

We had a great night!

Softball, Friends, and Haircuts!!!

Monday night we went out to PJ's to watch the guys play softball. It was muggy and late, but we still had fun, as always. We look forward to our laid back Monday nights with good friends!
