Memorial Day Weekend!!

We had a very eventful Memorial Day Weekend!

First, Jake's friends stopped by on their way out of town. Kinley just basically came to give Jake some kissing action. She thinks he's her man! haha!

Then she read a book to him...

Then she put her bow on her brother, Jax...

Then on Sunday Jake went to Bible Class for the first time!! He normally sat in our class w/us, but he was getting a little unruly. He's a big boy now!!

The rest of the weekend was spent resting...

neatly eating sweet potatoes....

And going to the Aquarium at Moody Gardens!!!

He was so good, not crying once the whole day!!

We had a great weekend, spending time with both of our families and then spending today together. We all three slept in until after 9am! Then headed down to Moody Gardens around lunch time.

What a neat holiday Memorial Day is. It is so appropriate to have an entire day dedicated to those that have given their lives for our freedoms. Special prayers tonight for all of our troops and their families, past and present. God Bless the USA!
