This Friday Jeremy and his friends went to play miniature golf (The green jacket championship-as they like to call it...nerds) and then go watch the basketball games at a sports bar...so I got to have a girls night. Jess, Kinley and I met my mom, dad, Lissa, and Courtney at Haley's playoff game against Tomball. After her game Lissa, Courtney, mom, Jess, Kinley and I headed to our house to order pizza and play rock band. We had so much fun! My mom had always thought it sounded like such a stupid game, but we played for hours and she claims she'll be using the house key we gave her to come play on her lunch breaks!!! ;-)

Here you go people!!!

Since so many of you have requested the Chuy's dip recipe I took to the crawfish boil last weekend, here it is!

1 bunch cilantro (recipe called for 2 but everyone thought 1 was PLENTY)

2-3 fresh jalapeños

15 oz jar of jalapeño slices (add more if you want it SUPER SPICY)

32 oz jar of sour cream

1 cup of mayo (I used light)

2 packages ranch dip mix

Puree all ingredients in food processor and enjoy. This makes TONS. If you don't want to be made fun of (thanks guys!!) for the amount....half or fourth the recipe. :) To the left is a large bowl (a single recipe of it). ENJOY!

And of course, before any group get-togethers you have to check with me first before you decide to bring it. I plan on bringing it along to many future events since I can never just make it for Jeremy and I by ourselves. ;-)

Our Weekend... (boring version)

We had a wonderful weekend, however, I hardly took any pics of it (hence 'boring version')!

It started out getting to see 2 of my favorite babies in the world together! Since one of them lives here and the other in Portland it was quite an exciting experience. Nico and Kinley are only 3wks apart, and they finally met first date style at Starbucks :) (with me and their mom's of course).

They switched mom's for a moment...we decided Nico is actually much bigger than Kinley (@ almost 3wks younger). We didn't think they came much bigger than Kinley! :)

I also got a yummy quiet dinner with a friend of mine, Laurie. We stayed so long they pretty much had to kick us out! Girls only dinners are fun, and I'm thankful that I get them pretty regularly!

Saturday we slept in and then went to a Crawfish Boil @ the Proctor's. Jenn is from Baton Rouge if that explains anything.:) Jeremy ate crawfish, and I took a steak that Jeremy cooked on the grill for me. I did try some of the corn and potatoes that were in the boiler, and they were very spicy! I also had some homemade garlic bread and tons of other treats.

Our contribution to the food was some Chuy's creamy jalepeno dip. I got the recipe from my good friend Tamara. She made it for Noah's first birthday party. Do you think we took enough?

We had a great Friday yesterday.

Right after I got home from work Jeremy's sister Starr stopped by. She has recently adopted a dog that had been run over near her school. She brought me my adorable b-day present, and brought Wilbur for us to meet. He's so so sweet!

We were also paid a visit from Weilun (one of Jeremy and my friends from A&M). He stayed the night with us and hung out with us and my family. It was so good to see him, he recently got back from 1 year in Afghanistan.

My grandparents and aunt also came in town because Haley had a softball game against Lufkin. Her team beat them, guaranteeing them first in district even if they lose their next and last game on Tuesday. Since it was the final home game of the season, and therefore the high school careers of the seniors on the team, they had a presentation for them after the game.

Afterwards, we all headed out to my parents for some pool, burgers and hot dogs, 42, etc.

We had a great night!

This Sunday afternoon was Noah's first birthday party. His mom is one of my good friends Tamara. We roomed together in college, were in eachother's weddings, and still keep in touch and try to get together every few months. She and Chad got married exactly 11 mos after us, and he is also an aggie. They are such a cute family!
