After the doctor checked her a couple of hours ago and announce a 9, now he is not sure she is that far along. How the baby is sitting and how she was when she was checked earlier, has made him realize now that she really hasn't progressed much more than a solid 7. Amanda is very discouraged because she continues to have hard contractions. They want to put her back on Pitocin now and have agreed to give a her a half dose of the "pain" medicine to help her relax. She still would rather have him naturally if at all possible, but even the doc is talking epidural possibly at this point.
The doctor has a small concern that Amanda's pelvis is too small to let Jake push her to dialate to a full 10 because of such little progress and the "fake" progress from earlier. Amanda truly wants to avoid a c-section if at all possible. The doctor told her he would really like to see progress in the next hour. Please pray that Jake is able to drop lower in the next hour and cause Amanda to dialate further!

I have a g'ma name suggestion for Debbie....One of my friends was wanting to avoid a name that made her sound "old" (you'd have to know her). So she suggested GG to her kids (gorgeous grandma). However, when the first grandbaby arrived, she didn't care what she was called...just as long as she was called!
