Baby Seth's Nursery!

New sheets! (Jake's old bumper that I loved!)

Super cute and the perfect colors! Thanks, Pottery Barn Kids! :)

New wall decor: Monkey-Giraffe-Lion height chart, sign above bed and little giraffe on the shelf.

1/2 of Seth's closet...filled with new clothes and some of Jake's oldies.

"Seth" letters Gammie made and new Giraffe for the wall Daddy picked out!

Diaper wreath my friend Nikki made for the hospital! So cute!

Hippo-Monkey-Giraffe picture I made using the cricut and scrapbook paper. I thought it turned out pretty cute. :)

Zebra and Elephant picture my mom and I made using the cricut!

These blocks used to have Jake's initials on them, Jess found them at Canton. I just painted over them and my mom made these super cute animals on the cricut. Love that they got reused for something totally different for Seth and didn't go to waste after Jake!

We pretty much started and finished Seth's nursery this week. I loved Jake's colors and bedding in his nursery, so since we were having a boy we decided to reuse as much as possible, all while making a new and different nursery for Seth. I think we succeeded! We kept the same paint, furniture and colors. We came up with a new theme, and made and bought completely new wall decor and new crib sheets. I love how it all coordinates yet isn't too matchy. I can't wait to see our lil Seth in his room!!

Our Water Baby...

Isn't much of a baby anymore! He is beginning to get around this week on his own in the pool. On Tuesday of last week we went to the pool with our friends Jill and Christina and their kiddos. That day Jake would push me away -even in deep water. I guess he really was ready to spread his wings...he didn't sink! That day he did great and would swim maybe 5-7 feet before needing help.

Today we went back to the pool with my parents, and with the camera in tow. He was just getting warmed up in these videos, I was telling him to practice and get used to being in deep water again. Then....the rain came! Atleast we got a couple of videos and rainchecks too since Jer and my parents don't have pool passes. We will go again soon!

But for now, here are some videos of our lil fearless 2.5 year old water baby. Hopefully we'll get even better video next time! Now I'm having to decide if I'm still gonna want him to take lessons or just let him learn on his own now that he's begun on his own.

As always, we are so proud of our lil Jakey! =) It's so fun watching him grow and learn and we feel so very blessed to be his Mommy and Daddy.

Seth's Sprinkle!

Adorable diaper wreath made by Nikki! It even had an "S" hanging in the middle. LOVE IT!!!

Cake and gifts- split girl for Meredith and boy for me! So cute!

Seth cleaned up! We're chopping away at our "needs" list. Yeah!

Me (31wks) Meredith (34 wks)

Cute bib and burp cloth! Love them!!

Soft blankets made by Jess. I hope Seth loves them as much as Jake does. He still sleeps with several blankets each night/naptime.

Me and Jess

Haley, Me, Court. Love my sisters!

What a special night tonight was! Mine and Meredith's mutual friends gave us a combined sprinkle. We had lots of fun and Seth got sooo much cute stuff! The decorations were adorable and the company was great! I am so thankful to have the thoughtful and giving friends that I do. Everything was so perfect and I had fun showing Jeremy all of Seth's cute new stuff. Tomorrow my mom's stopping by to see it. Thank you all!!

I can't believe that we are 31 weeks and in just a few short weeks we will likely be induced and be meeting Seth around 38 weeks! Crazy...and so much to do!! I CANNOT wait to hold my baby boy!

One happy captain!

We packed last Fri and Sat with fun in Canyon Lake and Gruene with Jeremy's family. It is so gorgeous, I've been several times and forget how clean and clear and cool the lake water is every time! We also love going thru the cute shops in Gruene and eating at Gristmill! Yummmm!! =)

Some of our favorite quotes from Jakey this weekend:

"Where's Daddy's gwasses? (pause) They're at da bottom of da lake!!"

"That's Papa, not Papaw, Papa."

And, as we're passing a road construction site... "That's a big crane, Mommy. Not a big train...a big C-Crane!" =) He loves to show us that he's not confused and corrects himself when two words are very close and easy to get confused. It's our favorite!
