Mean Face!!

Ok, so these are not the best pictures of this face. And, the video is wayyy more funny than this. But, since he's been doing this for weeks and weeks and these are some of the few pictures I have I needed to record them in our "family journal". It's even better when he wrinkles his forehead and really looks mad! But, once he starts cracking people up he just starts laughing so he doesn't look mean at all! =)

Matt's Graduation!

It's so hard to believe my brother has graduated!!
He graduated on Saturday in College Station at Reed Arena. Whoop!! Sunday after church my parents, along with the parents of a couple of his basketball buds, had a grad party at the beach park in their neighborhood. There was volleyball, tons of food, cake, horseshoes, and lots of other fun stuff. We had a great time!
We had so much fun being able to make almost every single basketball game of his and even go to a couple of football games. We are proud of him and will miss him next year when he's off to college! And, my parents will be empty-nesters now...all four kids are grown and are outta the house! Crazy! Since I graduated ten years ago they've probably thought this day would never come. Supposedly they're going to be picking Jake up on Friday nights to spend the night with them. Haha! :)

Tons of Summer Fun!!

Cute close-up at the pool at Creekside park!

The ladies love lookin' at Jakers!! LOL

He had a ball! I'm soo excited to hang out here all summer!

We loved our fun Memorial Day with Daddy home!!

Oh-so-cute watching Daddy!

He stopped "mowing" every once in a while to look at Daddy to make sure he was doing it right! =)

Jake and his best bud Jax! They say eachother's names so cute!!

Kinley and baby Emily. Cute girls!

Hayes' 1st Birthday Beach Party was a blast!

with Cousin Kaleb at the Moody Gardens Aquarium! Jakey was mad at the time...I wasn't letting him play with the big kids!

Swimming at Uncle Shad and Aunt Courtneys!

One of our fun evening bike rides. The seat was my Mother's Day present and we love it!!

I can't wait for all that summer holds. Hanging out with my boys, going on bike rides, playdates at the pool with friends, trips to Port Aransas, Family Camp with our church...life just doesn't get better than this!! I hope summer has started off great for all of you! :)

Mother's Day 2010

Jakey and I took several pictures throughout the course of the day. As you can see, none of them turned out perfect but I am glad we have them on record. I am so thankful to be his Mommy, he is such a blessing. I love, love spending our days together! I will always cherish this time he and I have had alone. Some day I won't remember life the way it is now, so I am glad to be able to record how I feel about it and just how in love with him we are!
"Mom" is the most important job I've ever had and I can only hope and pray that I am doing the best I can...and getting something right. On this day, we also celebrated our moms and what they mean to us! I had a great example growing up, and can only hope to be that to Jake!
I got the sweetest Willow Tree angel from my parents...it's a mom holding her toddler boy. I also got the sweetest card, with a note from Jeremy and a note from Jakey. :) Like I've said before...our Jakey is way advanced...he can already read and write. ;) I also got a bike seat for Jake that Jeremy attached to my bike. We've already used it many, many times. I love it!!
Hope that you all had a great Mother's Day!!!! (if you even remember it by now!)

Matt's Senior Banquet

Earlier this month we went to Matt's Sr Banquet at our church. Yes...I am wayyy behind on posting and will probably never catch up! We had fun and I wanted to add this memory to our family journal!
