Weekend Happenings...

This Friday we went to another one of Matt's games...this time in Huntsville. They won 52-32, which I wasn't too happy about because I like them close!! It made for an interesting game since the refs only called about 3 fouls the whole game. It got pretty rough...but atleast they were letting things go on both sides and it was fair. Only a few games left this season, so we'll make as many as possible. Atleast we have Haley's softball season coming up!

Saturday we had the pleasure of keeping Kinley for the day. Her parents weren't feeling so well so she ran errands with us. We went to the bank, the cleaners, lunch, and grocery shopping. She was perfect and we had such a good day. After we got home from all of those places she helped Jeremy root for the aggies during their b-ball game (sshh- don't tell her daddy :)) We finally decided to give her back after that.

This is what the dogs were doing while we were holding/playing with Kinley. I think they knew we weren't paying them any attention and gave up on trying to get in the middle of everything.

Anniversary Trip Ideas...Anyone???

Well, this is a topic that's been on my mind just since the new year. Now that the holidays are over, it will give me something to look forward to!!

Jeremy and I are hoping to get a good trip in this year. In the past year or two we've made trips to Dallas (business), San Antonio, Colorado, Port Aransas, South Padre, Canton, San Diego (business) and on a cruise with some of our friends to Cozumel. So we've had some small and short trips, but this year we're looking for a good 5-7 day vacation alone for our 5th (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???) anniversary in July.

We're going to be squeezing in a trip to Tyler with friends in Feb or March and a trip to Oregon to visit my good friend Danette and her family probably in February. So preferably no ideas on the west coast since we've been and are still planning on making a trip up there in the next little bit.

Other than that, we would greatly appreciate any ideas or referrals of places, cities, travel agents, websites, or anything else that would be helpful in finding a fun place to spend some time together.

Thanks in advance!

Little Christmas Girls

I couldn't resist posting pics of Cassie and Sadie in their Christmas outfits. I wanted to get them the 'naughty' and 'nice' doggie shirts from Old Navy but never got around to it, so these are what they pranced around in... and yes I mean prance. Sadie gets a little bounce in her step when I put it on her. She even holds her neck up real stretched for me to get it on her... Cassie.... not so much.

Matt's Christmas B-ball Tourney

One of several games where they kicked butt :)
His team with the first place trophy!!

Matt Egger, #32 about to try to get the tip
As a free throw goes in the basket...

Well, we made it back from SA just in time for Matt to play in the Woodlands College Park sophomore b-ball tourney. He played great, and his team ended up winning first place!! Here are a few pics...I know he'll just kill me for this....
In one of the games he had scored 30 points..around half of his team's points for that game. :)
We love watching him play and are so proud of him.

New Year's Day

We spent New Year's Day evening in Magnolia at my family's. We ate tons of Ham, macaroni, twice baked potatoes, green bean casserole, homemade bread, black-eyed peas, and chicken pot pie. Don't worry, my parents didn't cook ALL that food for us and the Coleman's...there were about 15 people! After dinner the guys headed upstairs to play pool after we all played a game of buzz words. My mom and sis took the above pics of us and the Coleman's. Kinley is precious, as always... :) They said the world was going to be confused as to who her mom is, since I always have her. ;-)
We ended up getting home around 10pm last night...not early enough when Ryan, Jeremy and I all had to go back to work this morning and staying up until 3am the night before after a night of games at the Alarids. :(

Christmas with the Worley's (Dec 22)

Kaleb, Shad, Jeremy, me, Starr

On Sat, Dec 22nd, we had our Christmas with Jeremy's family. Kaleb, our nephew, was going to spend Christmas with his mom, so we only got to see him thru Christmas Eve, so we celebrated a little early.
His dad got him this bike, he was so cute. He was showing us how he could ride one-handed at one point so that we would then let him carry Sadie while he was riding the bike. Haha.
We had a great time and got lots of very neat things!! :)
